Open to all Australian university students, our Strathpine hub provides a safe and productive space to concentrate on your studies, connect with peers, and experience a campus-like environment locally. We’re dedicated to your academic success, offering support to settle in and improve your skills.
Facilities include:
– Quiet study zones for individual, distraction-free study.
– Group spaces and meeting rooms for group trainings, assignments, projects and discussions.
– High-speed Wi-Fi to access online lectures, research and assessment portals.
– Desktop computers and large monitors so you can work comfortably, even without your own device.
– Printing and scanning for assignments and key documents.
– Kitchenette and tea/coffee facilities so you can recharge between study

We don’t run our own courses – instead, we support you in the course you’re already enrolled in at your university or TAFE. Think of us as your local study support team.
Our staff can help you with:

– Time management: planning your semester, breaking down assignments and balancing work, life and study.
– Navigating university: understanding key dates, processes and the support available from your institution.
– Digital skills: using online learning platforms and tools more confidently.

Does the Strathpine Study Hub cost anything for students to use?
There is no cost for students to register and access the Strathpine Study Hub. Fully funded by the Queensland Government, our study spaces are designed to offer a free, user-friendly, loaded study space for vocational and tertiary students to focus on their studies and access resources and support.
Who can utilize the Strathpine Study Hub?
If you are a current vocational or university student with a Unique Student Identifier (USI), you are welcome to register and utilise the Strathpine Study Hub. Once registered you will be given an all-hours access card and can make use of the study space at any time.
Is the study space quiet?
Yes! With staff on hand to support students, and regular after hour security checks, we offer a quiet, fully-resourced space for vocational and university students to focus on their studies.
